Studies on the Determination of Pantothenic Acid in Food

Abstract

|
To find out the Pantothenic acid contents in foods that are cultured in Korea, 30 kinds of foods such as vegetables, seeds, nuts, fruits and the likes with the technique using L. arabinosus A.T.C.C. 8014.
As the results, vegetables contained 0.1~1.5mg% Pantothenic acid.
Seeds and nuts showed more guantity than vegetables, and then fruits and analyzed. 0.01~0.3mg% of Pantothenic acid.
